Placing food on Utah’s tables with your help.

Welcome to Bridge Utah. We’ve always operated far outside of the spotlight, and prefer to do so, still. This website casts light on our organization, its background, its mission, and we hope to continue this work well into the future. There is more than one way to build a bridge, and we hope you’ll want to work with us to construct ours. Thank you!

“If you cannot feed a hundred people, then feed just one.”
- Mother Teresa

When you contribute to Bridge Utah, you are helping someone get through the next meal or two, and perhaps feed their children, essentially giving them the opportunity to allocate strained or scant financial resources for other critical expenses. You are taking life’s sharp edge off of strained budgets. Our organization cannot replace other forms of well-intentioned welfare, but we can place meat in refrigerators and produce on tables, so families and individuals can sort out their own welfare with dignity, hope, and better clarity.

Human capital. Dedicated effort. Financial resources. Consulting expertise. There are ways for anyone who wants to contribute to do so. Thank you for your sacred time, talent, and contributions.

Meet Our Team

  • Scott Godown

Scott is a family man, business man, and MAN, does he love quality eats (you can read his food reviews on Google). Scott and wife, Natalie, started the first iteration of Bridge Utah from their home, then near Provo and Salt Lake City. Those dedicated hours of service to families and individuals in their community planted the seeds of success that would ultimately result in the formation of a formal food pantry operation in Southern Utah. Scott is involved in a variety of business enterprises, including founding Black Ridge Pools in the St. George, UT area.

  • Bill Ennis

Scott approached Bill and wife Michelle with the opportunity to put in a few volunteer hours and make a huge difference in people’s lives. Eventually, those efforts led to Steve and Alice Baugh and the formation of a robust food pantry in the Hurricane, UT Valley.

Bill has an extensive background in graphic design and illustration and started the county’s first paddling shop, Dig Paddlesports, in 2011 with Michelle and all five of their children.

  • Paul Godown

Paul is an expert in all things mechanical and maintenance. He enjoys coaching his kids in the moutainbike competition space. He is Black Ridge Pool’s field operations manager. Paul and wife Camie have six children.

  • Mark Lee, Bridge Utah

    Mark Lee

Mark was raised in Southern California, at the base of the San Gabriel mountains in a family of entrepreneurs. His background in finance and insurance management is invaluable to the Bridge Utah team.

  • Steve Baugh

Steve and wife, Alice, opened the doors to physical space in their manufacturing business location to create a thriving food pantry. Volunteers contribute time and resources to a regular schedule of operations, thanks to the Baugh’s space and dedicated management of the pantry.

Both have been active in a variety of community church, civic, and other volunteer organizations for many years, as well as running a unique nutritional supplement business together.
